Dining Room Chair Covers – Lots of homeowners look around their houses and feel bored or unimpressed by their belongings. It is common to feel a little tired of your furniture from time to time. However, that does not mean you have to run out and get all the new furniture. Rather, you can take strategic steps to fix pieces of furniture you have. For example, if your dining room chairs could use a touch of color, you can create pillowcases outside of the pillowcases.
First DIY dining room chair covers is turning the pillowcase inside out. Slide the pillowcase along the back of the dining room chair. Fold the top of the pillowcase over, so the case almost, but does not, touch the seats of the chair. Pin the fold to secure the pillowcase in this position. Insert a pin every inch or so along the fold.
Fold each side of the pillowcase equally so it creates a perfect fit around the chair backward. Pin your folds in place, inserting a pin of every inch or less. Sew these three sides in place with a sewing machine. Then remove the pins as you go. Use any stitch you want. Once you have sewn the sides together, cut the excess fabric. Turn the pillowcase inside out, and you’re ready to use it as dining room chair covers.
